The pair of jeans I am using to cycle to go to work every day is very worn out !
I wanted to do some embroidery on it to draw the eyes away from the knee section. When I saw Jenny Parker post last week, I was inspired to try some Japanese “Sashiko” embroidery on them. There are thousand of pattern on line and I chose a wave pattern.
This is lovely and such a good idea!

They look great. Have you seen the Ralph Lauren Sashiko jeans? They’re covered in stitching and indigo patches. I’ve pinned them on my embroidery board on Pinterest. You might be inspired to go even further.

That’s awesome! I love that look. Did you know that in traditional sashiko, the seams never overlap, they always meet?
