I sometimes buy the French magazine “Marie Claire idées” online but I had to ask my sister to get a hard copy for me last April when they a free pattern for the blouse I Am Joy from the pattern company I Am Patterns.
We had decided to sew together with my mum and my sister this blouse. I finished mine and I cannot wait to see my mum and sister version !
I found a very nice fabric in Cork : a cotton lawn with golden details.

The pattern and fabric go well together. I’ve found, over the years, that it doesn’t matter what you make with it, a beautiful fabric will make the garment look great. And that it a beautiful fabric.
