Peacock feather blouse

I sometimes buy the French magazine “Marie Claire idées” online but I had to ask my sister to get a hard copy for me last April when they a free pattern for the blouse I Am Joy from the pattern company I Am Patterns.

We had decided to sew together with my mum and my sister this blouse. I finished mine and I cannot wait to see my mum and sister version !

I found a very nice fabric in Cork : a cotton lawn with golden details

This is my participation for the défis du fil in June.

  2. The pattern and fabric go well together. I’ve found, over the years, that it doesn’t matter what you make with it, a beautiful fabric will make the garment look great. And that it a beautiful fabric.

I love the fabric you used, and the simple shape of the garments really show off the print. It’s so nice you get to sew with your mum and sister as well!
