I was really lucky to win a skein of a beautiful blue yarn from Yukis in the sky when Rachel says yepa celebrated her blog one year anniversary.
I have made a mandarine headband. The pattern is available here. The yarn I used is thinner that the one on the pattern so I cast on 41 stitches.
I love the colour of that yarn and that beautiful woven texture really suits it xx

Oh that color is gorgeous! I just bought a similar skein of yarn and after paying for it and a few other things I realized I’d spent a lot of money. I checked and the skein was $35!! Is this normal? It does have 400 yards but wow. My common sense says to take it back but every time I look at it I fall in love again (mine has hues of purple in as well) so here I sit with a ridiculously expensive skein of yarn wondering what I will make…

That seems like a lot of money ! I did not buy this one so I cannot tell you how much it cost.
