Clutch bag for Spring

I wanted to make another Tunisian crochet clutch after the one I made for my sister.

I chose to make it with 4 pastel colours.

While crocheting it I realised that I preferred the texture of the wrong side more, compared to the right side.

I finished by lying it with some polkadot fabric.

That is so pretty. The lining looks cool.I never knew Tunisian crochet produced such a dense fabric. Something else I need to learn.

Thank you ! I only know the basic stitch of Tunisian crochet : it is very easy to learn and you are right, the fabric produced is very dense !

Pretty colours! The right side looks rather like weaving – interesting.

  7. That’s a gorgeous use of colour and Tunisian crochet. The polka dots are a great contrast. Very eye catching. Enjoy the bag!

J’ai découpé des T-shirts et mis en pelotes. 3 ou 4 T-shirts tricotés avec aig n°10 pour un tapis de bain. C’est vraiment jolie cette récupération que j’ai pu faire!

  11. I love Tunisian crochet! I’ve not done a lot of it but do love the aida like fabric you get at the end (perfect for one of my other loves – cross stitch). I do agree the ‘wrong’ side gives a fab finish to your bag though!

Next on my list is to master the Tunisian knit and purl stitches 😀
